Using The IDE

The below screen and table describes the various elements and functions of the main IDE screen:

Settings Menu
Displays the IDE settings for this function. See Settings Menu below for more information

Debug Mode
Toggling Debug Mode allows you to use the Try Out feature. You can see log output, in real time, from the event hook as it executes

Try Out
This triggers the event hook to execute as if it was being triggered during the actual event. You can use this for testing purposes to ensure that your code snippet is working correctly

Hook Name
Displays the name of the current event hook that you are working with

Toggle Screen Size
Toggles the IDE view between windowed to full screen

Debug Logs
When Debug Mode is enabled, log output from the event hook is visible in the Debug Logs window

Settings Menu

Within the main IDE several options are provided by the Settings Menu, as described in the table below.

Dependencies
Here you can add and manage NPM module dependencies for this event hook
Request
When Debug Mode is enabled, you can change the contents of the request sent to the event hook. This allows you to quickly test different permutations of data your hook may handle
Response
When Debug Mode is enabled, the contents of the response from the event hook will be displayed
