Branding policy general settings
The General tab within the Branding policy editor contains the core configuration settings for a branding policy.
These settings define:
- Branding policy metadata
- Brand identity elements
- Colors and visual appearance
- Footer links and supporting texts
- Global branding behavior across customer-facing experiences
Changes made in the General tab are reflected in the preview panel in real time.
Basic settings
Name
The name of the branding policy.
This name is used throughout the Admin Console, including:
- Branding policy listings
- Application policy assignments
- Policy selection menus
The branding policy name is internal and is different from the customer-facing Brand name setting.
Description
An optional internal description for the branding policy.
Use descriptions to help administrators identify the purpose or intended usage of the branding policy.
Policy tag
Assign tags to the branding policy for organizational and filtering purposes.
Policy tags can help group and identify policies across the Admin Console.
Branding settings
Brand name
The customer-facing name of your brand or organization.
The brand name may appear in customer-facing experiences and communications, such as:
- Hosted authentication journeys
- The label of soft token authenticator apps used by customers
- Notification policies where the
{{BrandName}}variable is applied
Favicon URL
The URL of the favicon displayed in customer-facing experiences.
The favicon must be hosted externally and accessible through a public URL.
Supported image formats include:
- PNG
- JPG
- SVG
The server hosting the favicon must return a valid image content type. Responses containing unsupported content types are rejected for security reasons.Supported content types include:
- image/png
- image/jpg
- image/svg+xml
Logo URL
The URL of the logo displayed in customer-facing experiences.
The logo must be hosted externally and accessible through a public URL.
Supported image formats:
- SVG
- PNG
Recommended logo height:
- Between 75px and 100px
The server hosting the logo must return a valid image content type. Responses containing unsupported content types are rejected for security reasons.
Supported content types include:
- image/png
- image/jpg
- image/svg+xml
Primary color
Defines the primary color used across customer-facing experiences.
The primary color is applied to common interface components such as:
- Buttons
- Links
- Interactive elements
- Highlights
Colors must be provided in hexadecimal format.
Background color
Defines the background color used in customer-facing experiences.
The background can be further customized using custom CSS.
Colors must be provided in hexadecimal format.
Custom CSS styling overrides the primary and background color settings when conflicting styles are applied.
Footer settings
Privacy policy URL
The URL of your privacy policy.
A Privacy policy link is displayed in supported customer-facing experiences.
Site terms and conditions URL
The URL of your site's terms and conditions.
A Site terms and conditions link is displayed in supported customer-facing experiences.
Copyright text in footer
Defines the copyright text displayed in the footer of customer-facing experiences.
You can use {{year}} to display the current year dynamically.

Displays additional support-related text in supported customer-facing experiences.
This text can be used for:
- Support contact information
- Service availability notes
- Customer assistance messaging
Show Strivacity logo in footer
Controls whether the Strivacity logo is displayed in the footer of customer-facing experiences.
Danger zone
Delete branding policy
Permanently deletes the branding policy.
Deleted branding policies cannot be recovered.
Deleting a branding policy may affect applications and customer experiences currently using the policy.
