General settings for branding policies
Here, you will find information about the general settings of branding policies.
General settings are displayed by default when entering a branding policy. You can show or hide the general brand policy settings using the gear icon.
Basic settings
Branding policy name
The name of your branding policy. You will find the branding policy by this name across the Admin Console:
- at policy options for applications
- in the branding policy page listing
This name is different from the Brand Name you can add in Global settings.
Brand Name
The name of your brand or company. The brand name will appear in
- specific parts of the customer journey, e.g. as the label of soft token authenticator apps used by customers
- notification policies where the {{BrandName}} variable is applied.
Branding colors
You can apply the most important colors to your branding right away:
- Background color Defines the background color of your branding. The background can be further styled with CSS.
- Primary color Defines the primary color of your brand. Applied to components in general. Each component can be further styled with CSS.
CSS styling overrides primary and background colors provided in these fields.
Favicon URL
You can add a link to your brand's favicon you host from an external resource.
Logo URL
You can add a link to your brand's logo you host from an external resource.
Content-type header format
Logo and favicon display has a safeguard in place that makes sure the browser only accepts image responses from the source URLs and not some malicious JS code. In order to display your images, the content-type header of your service that hosts the brand logo and favicon must contain at least one of the following formats:
- image/png
- image/jpg
- image/svg+xml
Requirements:
- image address of the logo
- the format of the image has to be SVG or PNG
- the image's height has to be between 75px and 100px

Privacy Policy URL
Here, you can add your privacy policy's web address. A 'Privacy policy' link will be displayed at the bottom of the self-service pages and the Admin Console.
Site Terms and Conditions URL
Here, you can add your terms and conditions' web address. A 'Site terms and conditions' link will be displayed at the bottom of the self-service pages and the Admin Console.
Copyright Text in Footer
You can include copyright information on all of Strivacity's hosted pages.
Support Text
You can add a note for customers under the self-service account's side menu.

Show Strivacity Logo in Footer
The setting can display the Strivacity logo in the footer of application pages, for example, the login page.
