Organization identification
In Strivacity, an Organization serves as a way to segment accounts within an Identity Store, enabling business-to-business (B2B) use cases such as delegated administration and B2B customer-specific policies for login and registration.
Several key elements impact the behavior of the organization identification screen during the Identify step in the login workflow. These elements influence how customers interact with the system and whether they can select or create a new organization.

- Route: Customers are prompted to input their organization’s route to proceed. This screen is required for organization or hybrid applications when the customer accesses an application with one or more organizations but is not automatically routed. Automatic organizational routing can occur through a login hint for organizational routing or via identifier-based routing, where the customer is automatically routed based on identifier uniqueness within a single organization in an organizational hierarchy.
- Create a new organization: This option allows admins to create a new organization through a self-service process, provided certain conditions are met:
- The application must be either an Organization or a Hybrid Application.
- The identity store must have self-service organization registration enabled, allowing customers to create new organizations.
- The base organization must allow the creation of child organizations.
